PSYCHOTHERAPY
I understand that at times he may feel stuck, experienced pain, or feel unsure about where to turn. Sometimes you may be alone and maybe faced sudden change and loss. In psychotherapy, I meet you where you are. I can help you feel better, create satisfying relationships, improve self-esteem, learn healthy behaviors, discover new meaning and direction, resolve issues from childhood, and nurture overall wellness.
I am professionally trained and licensed as a clinical psychologist to help you address your concerns mental health and emotional wellbeing. I’m also aware of the importance of spirituality and am prepared to address the spiritual dimension of life in a holistic manner. I welcome people of any religious faith or spiritual practice as well as those who have none. I am committed to providing quality services to people of any age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religious preference.
I provide psychotherapy sessions in person, or via Telehealth, in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Greek.
I honor your individuality and I listen to your concerns about your:
Together, we explore your deep desires and capture your dreams. I help you see the real difficulties that stop you from being whole and, together, we discover your real strengths. In this new light, formerly perceived weaknesses become your strengths and you are ready for change. As the therapy progresses, you develop new behaviors toward yourself and others that free you from pain and conflict and express self-empowerment, self-love, and self-awareness. Your relationships naturally may improve and you may feel clearer in your purpose, more optimistic about the future, and at peace with life and yourself.
Because psychotherapy is more of a high art than a hard science, the duration and outcomes vary and they depend on a number of complex variables. Research shows, nonetheless, that the majority of therapeutic outcomes takes place during the first 10-20 sessions. Of course, psychotherapy is a process and a renewable contract. You can stop at any point after you have achieved your desired outcomes, or you can define a new set of personal goals you want to reach with the help of your therapist.
